When it comes to laptops, at Kerr Solutions we recommend and sell several models from the Hewlett Packard (HP) range of business & professional laptops. We have access to all laptop brands; however, we have found the HP business & professional range to be the most reliable, serviceable and highest performing and therefore recommend them as such. To be more specific here – we do not even recommend Laptops from the HP Consumer range as they have proven little better than other brands.
Simply put – we don’t want to make a sale at any price, especially when that price is our reputation. All current laptops (from any manufacturer) ship with varying degrees of junk software & trial software which both complicates their use and makes them run slow from new (affectionately known as Bloatware). As part of our configuration process we remove all this software and find that our laptops boot up in half the time and run at around twice the speed that they did before our work. When you purchase a Laptop from us you are getting a premium product that has been configured for optimum performance and is ready to use from the moment that you turn it on. Every new laptop that leaves our door is configured in such a way that you will not be asked any of the normal multitude of configuration questions.
Further to this we install the latest software & updates that are necessary for normal operation. Included are the latest Windows updates & critical patches, the latest versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader, Adobe Flash Player, Java, either Trend Micro or Avast Anti-virus software & several other software titles that are designed to maximise performance & simplify use.
