More and more industry processes are built around computer-controlled systems. This is an area that we are familiar with and our staff have a wealth of experience in these fields. We are often called upon to help with batching plants, CNC plasma cutters, CNC lathes and other manufacturing processes. Mostly we are brought in when a plant is down, and current diagnostics are pointing to the PC. In the majority of cases it has been a fault caused by a failing mechanical hard drive. Unfortunately, we see a number of expensive plants operating without any spare pre-imaged drive and often without all of the software installs necessary to re-create a working model.
